The Cleveland Orchestra

Beth Woodside has been a member of The Cleveland Orchestra’s second violin section since 1994. She studied with Josef Gingold and James Buswell at Indiana University, where she earned a bachelor of music degree, and with Peter Salaff and William Preucil at the Eastman School of Music, where she earned a master of music degree. Ms. Woodside is a former member of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and the New World Symphony and has collaborated with numerous other symphonic and chamber ensembles, including the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra, Mainly Mozart Festival, Cleveland Chamber Collective, and Cleveland Composer’s Guild. Ms. Woodside was raised in Miami, Florida, and enjoys returning there for The Cleveland Orchestra’s residencies each winter.
