The Cleveland Orchestra’s endowment was established in 1928 by a group of visionary community leaders whose high expectations of musical excellence, community service, and generous support continue to characterize the Orchestra’s relationship with its audiences around the world.
Legacy gifts have been a major source of support for the Orchestra’s endowment for many years. These gifts come in many forms, including bequests, charitable gift annuities, and insurance policies. A legacy gift may provide you with an ideal opportunity to support The Cleveland Orchestra at a higher level than you might have thought possible.
And now, as the Orchestra approaches its Centennial in 2018, your commitment is more important than ever. When you include The Cleveland Orchestra in your estate plans, you are helping to ensure a second century of musical excellence and community service for all of Northeast Ohio.

Your gift makes a difference!
As The Cleveland Orchestra approaches its 100th anniversary in 2018, we are in the midst of an ambitious fundraising campaign. To serve more people in this community through the power of music, we must be financially strong. True financial strength requires an increased endowment, through commitments of cash and through estate gifts, and ongoing and increased annual support for yearly operations as well as for special artistic and community projects.
Legacy commitments support the Orchestra's Endowment, which has been built on a strong foundation of gifts made throughout the Orchestra's first hundred years. We invite you to join a growing number of Centennial Legacy donors who have chosen to support the Orchestra long into the future and forever benefit future generations of concertgoers.
